Our MPC2000XL Birthday Cake

This is the result of my artist-musician-friend, Luly and I’s collaborative efforts in creating an Akai MPC2000XL chocolate cake replica for my homeboy, Stu, of Audible Lab Rats (HI)
As she’s already a cake bakin’ master, this was my first attempt at using fondant to bend, paint, create, swing and stretch to form the model. From working atop a Ping Pong table, to making a gigantic mess, it was all worth the outcome. Collaborative creative minds work well together.
